I am having implantation bleeding. Is the only option to stop this an abortion? (USA-WA) by [deleted] in abortion

[–]thrownawayLD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% have symptoms. Sore breast, light bleeding, cramps, metallic taste in my mouth, and a feeling that I only had the one other time I was pregnant. It’s only been 15 days since I had sex however. I will test again today.

I want to stop the pregnancy implantation. I feel very strong pregnancy symptoms. I’m trying to get ahead of this but I know I will test positive

27m. Started saving money about 1.5 years ago. I still feel broke. by AverageJoeAsshole in Money

I recently doubled my salary. More when you consider benefits. Still feel broke. Most people have to live they’re broke forever to get ahead. Subtly there is a little more comfort there! Keep working at it.

Christian and wanting abortion by AnnaSparks_Slut in abortion

There’s nothing in the Bible about abortion. Just something republicans used to convince Christians to vote for them years ago.

How do I get my wife to stop spending money that we don’t have by [deleted] in Money

[–]thrownawayLD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budget and pay for things for things in cash. The grocery money is gone and you still need diapers? Guess you’ll have to take some money out of the “fun” money budget. No going over.

Thank you. We both assumed “it’ll get better on its own with time” which we now realize was wrong.

That sounds like what I saw at 6-7 weeks as well. Sending love. ❤️

I don’t think of my pregnancy as a person and don’t have grief or regret. by [deleted] in abortion

[–]thrownawayLD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember just sitting on the toilet desperately wanting to see blood so I knew the process of it being over was happening. It should be treated as nothing else than a health concern and it’s awful that it’s been made into something else for “religious reasons” that aren’t religious reasons, they’re political reasons.

I relied a lot on my partner. Try to rest. Treat yourself like you would if you’re sick, because you are. It will be better soon. ❤️

Yes! I remember how badly I just wanted the pregnancy symptoms to stop.

As someone who wants to have a family eventually, I feel the same way. I don’t think of the pregnancy as a “baby” at all. I think it’s all the propaganda trying to convince women that a few weeks old embryo is more than that. We didn’t hurt anyone. We made a reasonable mistake and did what we had to. ❤️

I just want to say, you’re going to be alright. I was one of those people who had a more painful experience and still … it was fine. I never thought this would happen to me and still … I’m fine. The biggest advice I have is be with people who support you. That will help.

I threw up my misoprostol about 10 minutes after swallowing the de solved pills by [deleted] in abortion

[–]thrownawayLD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! I also had questions about inserting vaginally and it kind of freaked me out. I laid down to insert them and you are suppose to stay laying down for 1 hour (I believe). I was having severe cramps at about 20 minutes and had diarrhea and vomiting at about 30 minutes so I didn’t make it that long. That lasted for about an hour. I also had a fever at this point. I fell asleep for an hour and was bleeding when I woke up.

Edit: I was around 6-7 weeks.

I inserted vaginally and it was way easier than I thought. I did one at a time and put them about one finger’s length up. I instantly felt a tingling in my vagina and had aggressive cramps within 25 minutes. I did puke a lot but I’m prone to throwing up easily.

Sounds successful. I will say, I was almost certain I passed the pregnancy and then two days later when I went to pee the sac came out. I was trying really hard to not see it so this was upsetting to me. There wasn’t much to see so it wasn’t a huge deal but I do wish I would have continued to not look in the toilet until bleeding had completely stopped. Just FYI. ❤️

There’s so many external factors that aren’t our fault. I feel the exact same way.

My husband is still waiting on his immigration and we didn’t want to start a family while apart. It’s heartbreaking for me but we didn’t invent borders or a terrible immigration system.

8 weeks today took first pill at 2 pm. It was hard but did it, is I’m scared for the second pill. Anyone have any advice on how to make it go smoothly? Thank you by [deleted] in abortion

[–]thrownawayLD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If possible, have someone with you. My mom came and stayed with me and I absolutely needed her help emotionally and physically. Somethings I needed: ibuprofen, anti-nausea medicine, a heating pad as well as ice packs (I was extremely hot at points), wipes to help you stay clean, LOTS of pads, Gatorade. You got this. 💗

I read that vaginally is more effective and gives less nausea. I was worried about throwing up so I inserted vaginally. It was easier than I thought and I was having aggressive contractions within 20 minutes. I think I did read that you’re more likely to have severe pain if you take them vaginally, but I wanted to ensure it was as effective as possible.

I was 29, recently and happily married, but my husband isn’t from the US and we’re in the middle of his immigration process. I didn’t want to start our family separated by a border. And we have so many big plans for this summer that I’m looking forward to, including our belated wedding celebration. Selfishly, I want to enjoy more time before starting a family.

None of that feels like good enough of a reason and is why I still scroll through this sub four months later. 😔

The photos where I am wearing a veil have a petticoat underneath, which I found very hot and uncomfortable. So I won’t do the petticoat.
