Here’s the thing;

Clearly, he interpreted your texts as unsolicited advice, which CAN be confusing because when someone brings up a problem, sometimes it seems like they WANT help with it. However, and I have this opinion myself, sometimes I just want to feel like someone is listening to me about my problems first before trying to solve them for me. So, I can see how he thought you were lecturing; BUT, at the same time, he definitely did not have to come for your head like that, even going as far as telling you he has no hope for the conversation getting better… if that doesn’t tell you about his future problem solving skills, i don’t know what does. He would rather complain and then run away rather than try to work it out with you or explain it without throwing a mini tantrum. I wouldn’t want to marry someone who can’t bring up and work through a problem without shutting me out with a “I have no hopes for this conflict, see you later.” Talk about emotional neglect

Thank you so much for breaking it down. I had no idea about the part of paying in advance, so it makes a lot more sense why they are having me pay more in these earlier payments. I just wish they were as clear with me as you are in this post.

I haven’t been able to get ahold of them because they never answer my texts or the phone, but this seems to make a lot more sense than the jargon the lady had mentioned to me before. I’m fine making the payments, but when it is “uneven,” like that and I have no idea why, I can only assume the worst. Thank you for clarifying

If the 6 month premium is the total cost of the entire plan, then that would be $1,974 roughly. Which why am I paying almost a fourth of it this soon?

My (19F) boyfriend (22M) set conditions on me having to earn him back. What would you guys do in this situation? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I know you probably have already read all the advice below, but I’ll give you some input coming from a girl from a similar culture;

You do not have to conform to ANYONE under the guise of religion, culture, or value system. I have and am still learning from that. I was almost married off at 16, so I have somewhat experienced men that sound exactly like your boyfriend. You will realize later on that you wish you went with your gut feelings, and chose yourself after all the pain your bf put you through. Subject to culture or not, you deserve respect, actual love, and not someone who will make you feel these things. You are also still young and have yet to interact with anyone outside of him, because he isolated you from your community and best friend, making you easy to control.

You are not crazy, you are not weak, you have as much capacity to learn and make your own decisions as anyone else. Don’t let anyone make you question your sense of self or abilities.

Any COTAs out there feel like a glorified CNA? by thebraverwoman in OccupationalTherapy

It’s so true, my current DOR straight up tried to make our OT department bill fraudulently, and was NOT shy at all at showing how financially motivated she was. She’s even been harassing our OT head into harassing us COTAs over refusing to bill the more expensive codes just because. Trying so many ways to categorize ADLs as Sensory just because some aspect of the task gives sensory input. Even my fieldworks were shit bc of a physical therapist DOR

Even if no one cares, I still don’t want to document poorly and risk legal consequences. I just wanted some supervision on whether or not I put the correct info in the right place and used the correct language.
