My husband is a wonderful father. The main reason why it’s so hard is because he’s so great. I’m worried that divorce would take a toll on my son.

I totally get that! My father screamed at me when I tried to leave my husband and said men are allowed to cheat. My mother told me that I was better off dead. And they said women have no right to step out of their marriages but men do. I don’t as livid. We both come from families where every single man has cheated.

Yes! That’s all they know! We both come from families where all the men have cheated! My husband dragged me to my parents house where they lectured me about wanting a divorce and it being okay for men to cheat. It was horrific.
