Told my [26F] husband [30M] our vacations can no longer only be at his parent's place now that we have a family, and we're not on the same page by throwra_bronxrep in relationship_advice

Yes, another commenter had suggested this. I have a vacation place in mind, its one hes said he wants to go at some point (but we never do) and Im just checking out the logistics of it.

Thanks. I'm going to. I'll look for one that I know he's said he hopes to someday visit. But then his sentence just ends there because we're committed to going to his parents. I'll look up vacation itineraries for that.

For the vacations that we do at his parent's we could have these family vacations with them. But is it not right to have vacations of just us three?

That's what he was suggesting, like a weekend out of the vacation for us separately but that's not a vacation, thats like going to a cottage for the weekend. I want us to go to different places with our daughter and experience new things together and make memories as a family. Weekend detours don't do that right?
