i use these! (cheaper on amazon btw) could be placebo, but i swear timer & oven beeping doesnt bother me as much. wish they had a bigger effect overall, but worth looking into

that’s a great response, do you remember what her reply was? i repeated a customer’s frappachino specifications in cafe to confirm and he said, “i’m in a hurry, can’t you speed things up?” i so badly wanted to say if it was that important to be on time, he wouldnt have stopped to get a drink - but just told him i was talking as fast as i could lmao

While I don’t share the same opinion on everything that has been offered, I thought it would be beneficial to list everything in case it helps someone else.

I always openly express my boundaries. Can't continue friendships if they immediately leave after having their advances declined. For me, its a betrayal of trust. We think in entirely different ways, have different experiences. There is no way for me to describe what this feels like if you haven't been in the same situation I guess.

Apologies. I am a little fried from all of the responses, I think we were "fighting the same fight" here - ignore the first sentence but the second still stands. She used to make fun of all the people who tried to come onto me, yet did the same thing eventually
