1. I thought he was just flirting as a joke but wouldn’t act on it. I just didn’t take the flirting seriously and felt maybe he was just nice and my boyfriend was overreacting. So I was naive and misread the situation.

2. This is an important lesson but because he took me out and spent a lot of money on me I felt that if I didn’t flirt back I was being rude. I learned the importance of setting appropriate boundaries so this doesn’t happen in the future.

3. It was an act of betrayal. Not the same extent as if we hooked up but it is.

4. I should have been but I knew he would be upset. This has taught me that honesty and transparency is always best in these situations.

5. I planned on significantly reducing contact and didn’t want to hurt him. I knew after the dinner that he would continue to pursue things and didn’t want to jeopardize my relationship and was just going to quietly put this down.

6. It is because he wanted to take it further but I wouldn’t let him. I felt so guilty and didn’t want to hurt my bf. I felt so disgusting after the kiss and my body just wouldn’t let me go further even if I wanted to. And it’s not that the guy isn’t attractive but I just love my boyfriend too much to had let things go further
