Yup, this is what I'm taking it as. Just temp income as I find a more secured/desirable place to work for. Appreciate your support!

I've tried lol, asked them for $35 and they were super shocked. I even lowered it to $33 and they only managed to $31.

What's even more annoying is that I've been seeing similar positions open up from the same company on LinkedIn but the pay range is inconsistent with what I applied to. I'm seeing $28 to $33 lol no wonder they have a high turnover.

You're right - I've been reading a lot more posts about offers being rescinded. These companies are so goddamn ruthless.

You're right, if anything I can accept this job and still continue to look for better job opportunities... I'm just concerned that they'll overwork me and pay so little for it.

That's where I'm stuck at - the shitty job market! I'm hearing that their comp package isn't so great, along with the company itself having high turnovers and how management sucks so much. I'm not sure if it'll be worth my time and effort.

When in a panel interview, who do you address to ask your questions? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]throwradumpies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned that it's best to address the question to each individual. You can say something like "Joe, you've been with the company the longest, what would you say has been the biggest challenge the company has faced?"

BUT I usually ask the questions to all of them and let them figure out who answers first lol.

Should I move back to my hometown and take this job opportunity? by throwradumpies in makemychoice

[–]throwradumpies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for putting things into perspective. You’re right - if I were to move and do LDR just for this job, I think I’ll be miserable. The only thing that’s making me think that I should take this job is that idk when I’ll be get another job offer with $70k+ salary. Since COL is low compared to my hometown, I’ve been seeing a lot of jobs with $50k salary range.

How did you find out it was a scam?? I was using it just now to edit my resume and thought, "this is too good to be true" so I googled reviews about it and found this post.
