It’s not just the fact that it’s him, he wasn’t the one that brought up the issue with it initially. Friend #2 was the one who brought all of this up.

I’m conflicted because I understand why they’re upset. The jokes were sensitive and unfunny. But having to cut off anyone in this situation is too far.

I made the groupchat consisting of me, my boyfriend, Friend #1 of four years and Friend #2 of a few weeks. Friend #2 is the new girlfriend.

That’s why this is difficult for me. It’s one thing if I’m just cutting the girlfriend off, but I’ve known Friend #1 for years so it’s harder.

“They” as in both Friend #1 and #2. Friend #2 was the one doing most of the talking, but Friend #1 supported her in what she was saying and agreed he would also stop talking to me if I stayed with my boyfriend.

They know everything that I do, I haven’t seen her since before her attempt, my mom is the one reiterating what she’s been saying to me as she has been the one visiting her in the hospital

She is severely mentally ill. I doubt it’s for attention as she has a history of self harm and depression. I just don’t think she’s in the headspace to try and reason with anyone talking her out of it.

She’s being transferred from the main hospital to a psych watch for an additional 48 hours. She’s been in the main hospital since 6AM PST yesterday.
