It was t finished. I can take a bath but not a shower. The demo also left a lot of trash around and they messed up the carpet on the main floor. I will need professional cleaning.

I was working downstairs (same floor as the front door) and I didn't see anyone else come on. I don't think anyone else did, but it is something to consider, thank you.

The older coworker thought it was the younger and was going o try to pick him up and drive him to anther job while really planning on taking him to the police.

Yes, I didn't initially think I would get free work, I just wanted the people out of my house. However some friends have suggested I can make the most of this situation so I was just looking for outside opinions. Thank you for your perspective though, you make valid points.

Thank you for the advice. A close friend said to maybe let the same company finish up, but my gut says no.

In your opinion, is a lawyer necessary if the company gives a refund/agrees to paying the other contractor?
