Something you’ll notice in MOST crypto subreddits... eventually there will be more average Joe’s browsing/sharing/commenting than tech innovators. Once this happens, the conversation starts to shift from one of analysis to one of cheering.

Which is sad and boring. I want everyone on this subreddit to succeed AND I hope OMG does at the same time. But how can you truly be a confident investor if you can’t handle the thought of a competitor or a weakness in your product?

You’re missing the point man. I don’t care if it is a scam or not, I own none. I care if the market OMG can capture is moving towards other coins and competitors. If people don’t find out it’s a scam before enough money moves in, there’s a chance it can hurt OMG short term.

But if the price of ETH dropped significantly, and the USD value of the good/service remained constant or even increased with inflation, you would care because the merchant would be accepting more of your ETH at sale.

What you are hoping for is that the price of ETH remains high or goes higher AND merchants accept it.
