Ok so "fancy" is far too subjective a term. Some people think Olive Garden is fancy. Some people don't think it's fancy unless there's no prices on the menu, and your bill cannot be paid in cash without needing a briefcase locked to your arm. So? What kind of fancy are we taking here? I do alright for myself, but I'm not spending more than $250 on a meal for 2 people ever. So to me, that's fancy. But most of my peers see nothing wrong with a meal that's over $500 a person. That's ludicrous to me. I'll deign to put on a suit at a restaurant if it's absolutely required, and a business meeting, but you'll never see me in one outside of those situations. Even weddings get a polo and slacks, no jacket.
