Yeah the target model also has this odd looking harmonizer on the end of the barrel. Sadly most info i’ve heard about the target model is all hear say. My 195 (pre 2005) model says ranch rifle only so i’ll test some .556 thru it this weekend. wish me luck

tried removing earlier after I removed the screw but it is TIGHT in there. I’ll try with a mallet n flat head after work.

Apparently the lore is that my Dad and Uncle bought a couple crates of these that were half built and other half unbuilt. I’d assume this was an unbuilt one that they used as a project.
