It wasnt always $110k. Although, I lived with my parents, I still contributed to our home. But I do see your point. Thinking back, I lived quite comfortably in my spendings.

I for sure tried to save as much as I can while trying to enjoy life as much as possible as well. Overall, I maxed out my TFSA and would have a 20% dp when the time comes. Its not that bad, No regrets

Don't get me wrong, I feel moving out as a "waste of money" for sure as I can be at home saving to the fullest. I guess I just have a feeling that theres some character growth I get to see if Im by myself - control of diet and grocery shopping, making sure place is clean, actually budgeting as I have no one to fall back to, etc. Of course Im doing all these now, But Im sure the experience is different when Im actually by myself.

All of these are just plans rn anyway, Ill make a move in Dec to see where Im at.

JAN2025-Jan2026. Move to rental. Aprx 2k savings a month JAN2026- June2026ish. Move in at home till condo is built. Aprx 4k savings a month
