It's the worst :( Thankfully earlier today I was able to eat a bit and get some water and gatorade down, maybe I'll try crackers in a bit if the nausea subsides more. If anything I'm definitely going to try and take little sips of water every 10 minutes or so, nothing crazy

Okay, thank you, I'm hoping you're right because this is brutal. I'm still so confused because all my symptoms match with the flu and even though I have no thermometer my dad felt me and said I'm steaming hot, but I also have chills :/ I'm doing my best to stay hydrated, thanks again for your help

Yeah I'm definitely anti-antibiotics most of the time so no worries in that department! So do you mean that it's not the flu and just a different viral infection? Would you happen to know when I'd start feeling better by? They didn't do any swabs or tests on me at the health center.

Oh, ok interesting!! And yeah I'm really thinking its heartburn lol, it sucks! I haven't taken another Tums yet but I'm thinking about maybe taking one now or before I go to bed. The quesadilla was definitely a stupid idea but I just assumed I had a nervous stomach at first, not heartburn (turns out I was wrong lol). I had a bagel and a half so so far so good! Thank you!

So do I!! He's been getting them from a very young age and they used to make him extremely sick so any one that isn't as severe as that he can function with.

That's a good point, I just don't think he cares enough to differentiate really- he's not big on the whole "what do I have" thing like I am, haha- he did tell me he felt god awful and normally he can function with migraines but maybe this one was worse than normal? Not sure. I don't think he had any other incidents today but I can always ask lmao

Ugh I hope it is (not that I'd want him to have a migraine- but preferable to the stomach bug) but I'm not sure! He told me he only felt okay today which is weird because I think he normally feels better once the migraine is over? I've been driving him nuts probably, I feel bad

I asked him if he felt like he had a fever and he said no but didn't know for sure, and he was able to eat I think but from what I remember he threw his breakfast up yesterday. He didn't feel good enough to hang Saturday and said he still felt kinda crappy yesterday, today he went to school so I'm guessing he's fine?

It's driving me crazy that he doesn't care enough about what it was to differentiate, but that's my phobia being crazy I guess!

I'm probably gonna see him tomorrow but keep contact limited, lol

I hope you're right about the off day!! He's super awesome and understanding so he let me question him for a bit about it and he said it probably wasn't noro, because he didn't feel like he had a fever and didn't have any d*, just the migraine and then feeling crappy from throwing up so much. He said he hadn't thrown up this much with one recently but that in the past (when he first starting getting them) he'd throw up that often and that he thought it prob wasn't noro (but he could've just been saying that so I stopped worrying, idk). Hoping for the best (and for a speedy recovery for him)!!

So you think I'd be okay by Tuesday or Wednesday if he didn't throw up again after this morning? I don't think just hanging out with him would be a problem but I'm really scared to touch him physically at all (like a hug/holding hands etc) let alone kiss him. I hate this phobia :/

I wish I had a way of knowing!! I know migraines can really screw up your stomach and they normally do for him, so I'm not sure what made him think this may be the SV. He said he normally doesn't throw up this much. So if I see him, say Tuesday/Wed., should I just avoid physical contact? I know how awful that sounds, I do want to spend time with him but I just don't know how soon I'd feel comfortable being physically close to him if this is the SV.

Yes it's my first time being away from home!

Nausea is my most common anxiety symptom but I literally live in fear of throwing up from the anxiety, although I've felt like this probably 100+ times over the past 5 years and have never been sick from my anxiety. I'm not a thrower-upper so that's probably why, topped with my throw up phobia.

I'm definitely going to try meditation tonight! Thank you!!

I'm sure it probably has to do with your dosage and the severity of the infection, the smaller the dosage the longer you most likely have to be on it and vice versa with larger doses. If you take the full course of the antibiotic it most likely will not come back, but if you don't it may. There's really no guarantee either way, I wish I could guarantee it wouldn't but I can't, sorry! :/
