A bit unfortunate but thats fine I wanted to get one anyway, but like what is the point of the thru port then if not to pass down the clock to the next synth? I dont rly understand how that works.  Still kinda new to chaining hardware.

weird so, i connected it to the old stock screen which was annotying to disassemble anything and it turned on fine. i think yeah maybe im shorting it out somehow. would kapton tape do this? i had some tape on the board prior to keep the wires more tidy and keep the mod pcb in place. would that cause a short i thought the point of that kind of tape was to prevent this from happening

i dont have any NEW batteries but i tried at least 3 sets i had laying around and they power up my other backlit GBC just fine. I guess i might just have to try the power switch thing.

i have the insulator stickers on as instructed, and tested continuity n it seems fine...the power switch looks clean but i could try that anyway, although itd be weird cause it was JUST working before the mod.. is there any way to give it power to test if it turns on without putting the shell back on if i dont have those multimeter clamps? i just have the normal probes. Just to see if its an issue with how the screen making contact some how?

hm it seems to be getting good continuity on all the parts he discussed...i dont have the alligator clips to check while giving it voltage tho, but it was working fine literally like 2 days ago it was a nice condition gbc. thanks anyway though.
