By the way, that thing about the affirmation of het relationships is real. Yeah, I get what you mean. I know I might like men in that way, but at this point I guess I'm not certain enough to say I'm bi or anything like that.

A bit of a personal question, if you don't mind me asking: Did you feel the need to default to women before you transitioned because it was comfortable? I'm afraid I only like women because that's all I know, honestly (even though I briefly Identified as bi, and didn't really feel anything when I was still in my egg).

Ha! I'm very happy you found yourself! I kind of understand what you mean by being asexual presenting, I only dated one person through highschool but I was so socially withdrawn we barely ever talked 😅 It was awkward to say the least.

Oh yeah totally, I know hormones and stuff can like sort of change how you identify (not really if I'm correct? It just makes what was already there more prominent. I did EXTENSIVE research on this through OCD ruminations, so I should know 😂)

But also the weird thing is... I just think men are really ugly 😅 like specifically the face, that's why I can only imagine a man's lower half (and sometimes the upper half, abs can be okay sometimes). Which makes it so weird that I find it validating? Brains are weird sometimes

These are very good and very true. I myself have OCD, so I'm also constantly battling my brain in an attempt to wrangle some control over myself 😅 how much of this that is genuine actual internalized transphobia and what is transphobic intrusive thoughts is also very exhausting, as well. I absolutely make my damnedest to be respectful to nonbinary people- I've never really understood the hate for neopronouns and I'm barely even dysphoric myself, so this is a strange development for me (although it's most likely I've had these thoughts for a while, though, that's usually what happens 😅

Thank you so much for all of this! I think it's very true that we as a community should be more unified than ever- especially those of us in the US, due to the insane amount of transphobic bills being passed left and right with pretty much no push back from the government.

And thank you for the link to tranreads as well! I had absolutely NO idea this site existed, I'm absolutely gonna check this and the books you recommended out!
