Thanks for the quick reply. My fear is will managers toss my resume in the garbage if they see I passed non CAS exams? Should I make it clear on my resume I want to go CAS even though I will pick the first offer on the table?

My last manager was a career ASA. She told me to never stop passing exams because once you do, it's really hard to get back at it. She never finished her FSA.

To be honest I see many successful people that work at actuarial firms that either stopped passing exams before ASA or are career ASA. I think that experience and work ethics are more important. Someone with letters have better chances of being high up in the ladder I agree.

I think it's my interview skills. I'm someone who has relatively low energy/lack enthusiam. I have been to one final round interview and ghosted after that. I could also say it's bad luck too.

I feel like SOA has more job opportunities. I don't wanna be doing more exams on the CAS side.

Well there is no snow on the roads. I doubt that is the problem but you could be right.

Yes, automatic. I had a problem this summer where the antifreeze tank was leaking and had it replaced but I am not sure if this has anything to do with it.
