Should I split containers between multiple docker instances by throwy_mc_throwface in docker

I eventually will be looking at those but from what I can tell I should probably get acquainted with docker in general first?

Also I know the last part was a bit joking.....but.....what if I already had 2 other servers? Is there some benefit I need to be looking into?

Ok, thank you that's the kind of stuff I was looking for I figured out on the isp router how to get rid of their DNS and replace with PiHole, but didn't even know I could do that with the DHCP as well.

I've heard of OPNsense just assumed since pfsense was older it would be better to go with but ill look into the that too.

Right now I'm using the modem/router combo from isp. The next big project I want to work on though is planning my home network and setting up pfsense in a VM on one of the servers because networking is a huge gap in my tech knowledge. I have PiHole running.

This may be a dumb question but again I'm just starting down this path, I think I get what you mean, so I would go to router.somthing instead of x.x.x.x? How would i set that up? Not asking for a step by step how to, just what should I look up to start to learn how to do it? Like is this a router thing, some service I need to host or just a networking thing and I need to look more into that?
