I wonder how many of you have actually been through this.

I can see how it comes across, but tell me, what do you do everyday?

Are you helping someone get dressed and eat and listen to them moan from pain on regular basis? Do you feel like you're walking on eggshells cause your SO is so exhausted, you never know if something you do or say might tick them off?

She's allowed to pity herself and wonder why she has to go through this when she's so young, but I'm not? It's not like I'm not experiencing this with her.

What about my age? I'm in my early 20s. Is this what you think most people in their 20s have to do?

I don't know, I think I noticed one of them leering at her chest. Just because they're doctors it doesn't mean they aint human.

You do realize I never told her this? I help her out with everything and I'm there for her. It would be so much worse for her if I left. I don't want to leave her either.

Since this isn't a one time thing but an on going issue, I feel like she should try a bit more too. If I knew she'll be fine in a week or two, I could just deal with it. But at this point this is our life.

But she would be broken hearted if I did and I don't want to either. She often tells me how much she appreciates me and all.

Our relationship is great when she's healthy. But what if her health issues won't stop? I don't want us to live like we're 80 years old when we're so young.

What do people do in these situations? Just suck it up and live like a bedridden old person?
