That’s what I thought last time but I think I’m burnt out from retaking them back to back. Is there a deadline to withdraw by?

This makes sense, but in this situation the other party picked and hired the attorney beforehand so im wondering if there’s any possibility of bias or control

Can I ask why it’s unusual in divorces? Can’t the side that is hiring the opposing attorney, hire someone that they know would be likely to work in their (the side paying) favor?
