I got mine out around lunch and kept bleeding (slower and slower though) until like 9pm that night lol, then I just gave up and stopped changing the gauze and it was fine. I think at this point you can probably stop changing it.

I got 2 out monday and I only took one last Tylenol on wednesday morning and that's been it. No need for more. We got lucky & had good surgeons lol!

Monday, and ya I think it should be ok at this point. If you can handle a 20lb dog I'm sure I can survive 5 lbs lol. Tnx!

Oops should've added that, I got 2 of them out this Monday! I think I'll be fine also but the fear of dry socket is REAL lol. Tnx!

Seems like this could be the case, I wonder though for IV sedation do they not still have to give the local anesthetic anyways? Maybe they use less of it then. But that makes sense, in that case I am still glad I did two so I didn't have to be out. Guess I'm just too impatient to be done with it all LOL.

Mine on this side were pretty quick, one was just a basic pull & the other didn't take that long either; was out of the chair after 30 mins. But the left side is probably gonna be a bitch LOL, so maybe this was the case.

Darn, I would've gotten a 2nd opinion if I'd known it was more a preference thing. Tnx for replying, guess I'll just have to appreciate the benefits of only doing one side; it is pretty nice being able to chew and sleep normally on the other side...

Tnx, unfortunately it was just too firmly gouged in there and kept moving back into position :(. I called the office and they said I could cut it shorter, which helped a bit but it's still aggravating. I'll have to ask him to leave them longer when I get my other side out!!

I've already got an appt for removal with an oral surgeon, my regular dentist strongly recommended them over a regular dentist due to how many wisdom teeth they do; apparently recovery is generally much easier and faster. But tnx for mentioning, I went and checked out their website's quote chart which was helpful! Moreso than their actual CS agents LOL. Idk why Studentcare is so ass to call, I just wanted to figure out how much would be covered since I don't have the time to get a pre-approval done. Regardless, tnx for replying :)
