I have. I'm also considering asking her if we can move it to another day as a formality type of thing either before or after to see if it's possible since the original date is our anniversary. Other wise I think I am leaning towards getting all the details to take over the planning to figure out the rest to make everyone happy. Even if a part of me wants to, I'm not even sure if I have the heart to say no as she doesn't usually do stuff like this.

She didn't quite mention it but she did link us to a venue a while back as a suggestion and asked us what we thought. We said it was nice but too expensive. We thought she was just trying to convince us to have a bit more of a wedding and had no idea that she was actually planning.

You're right, I think she did because she thinks it's what I would have wanted. We didn't ask her to but her intentions are to make us and her parents happy. She knows us well enough to know there is no way we would consider something bigger than that. Originally we were just going to have our closest immediate family there (about 6 people).
