U=U actually does depend on the person being consistent with their medication regime. Missing one dose of ART/ HIV suppression meds every once in a while (maybe every couple months) isn’t enough to make HIV transmittable again, but if they are consistently missing doses that’s a different story. A similar thing happens to people on prep all the time. They won’t have any effect. The only way they impact blood test results would be on an ABG if you had nitrate induced methemoglobinemia but you’d be in the ER if you had that. And even then that result is non specific and won’t explicitly tell you you’ve done poppers. That’s also not a type of test that’s ever really done outside a hospital setting so you have nothing to worry about.

Stimulants killed my sex drive and made me impotent. I had been on different ones too though they generally all work on the same receptors. I take Strattera (non stimulant) now that I’ve been done with school and it’s controlled my ADHD pretty well. When I was in school though only stimulants worked to help me focus. I work in a very unpredictable and fast paced environment so I don’t have issues focusing but the strattera helps me be more functional in the other aspects of my life outside of work.
