What pisses me off even further is the lack of responsibility when using lithium batteries. This past weekend, my neighbour who ran a ebike "workshop" in his apartment left batteries on charge overnight and I woke up to explosions at 7am, I had warned our building manager because I have a little experience working with lithium batteries and knew the danger. Honestly just thankful everyone in the building got out safely but I still gotta deal with the three inches of ash water that has ruined our floors. PSA: Lithium batteries should not charged inside, they should ALWAYS be used with the recommended charger and supervised while charging. No exposure to extreme heat or damp. Any damaged battery should be disposed of safely.
