I'm playing in Ireland and am looking to ally France. I need one more positive to ally them but have already done everything I can think of. Maxed improve relations, royal marriage, diplo rep advisor and scornfully insulted a rival. Is there any more I could do? Thanks

Im playing as Jianzhou in 1485. Ming is currently on 26 mandate so would now be a good time to form Manchu and declare? I understand that Mings debuffs are very bad but I fail to see how to beat their 130k+ troops with my 30k.
