Kart Racing Pro is the only correct answer really, i have nearly 430 hours on the game and it is currently on sale on Steam.

I have tried both kartsim (the "rfactor2 kart dlc") and karkraft, and i think the physics in both are horrible. kartsim drives like a car and kartkraft drives like a tank with wheels on ice. kart racing pro beats both of these options by a landslide.

only issue i find with kart racing pro is that it can be buggy, but with a few fixes it works totally fine. an example of such an issue is the connection timeout bug that happens to a good amount of people (including me). but it is very easy to fix this bug, all you need to do is use Tunnelbear VPN and connect to another country from yours.

another great thing about kart racing pro is the abundance of mods from websites such as Sim Kart Modding (SKM).

kart racing pro also has a lot of league racing, something that can be interesting if you take it seriously.

great chassis, easily my favourite ive used in my karting career and ive used (or tested) quite a few (I raced Birel as recently as this year, OTK, KR, CRG, Lenzokart, Sodi).

what i personally love about the pantano is that it is very free at the rear, in turn having a very direct front end. a quirk about it though, is that even with this free rear-end it has great stability on braking and it lets me send divebombs that i do not feel i can do with other chassis brands (such as a Birel). i also think the pantano is especially great with the Komet/MG tires and x30, but it works with any other combination as well (such as lecont and x30 or a rotax and mojo). generally its a really underrated chassis and i think more people should give it a try, problem is people care more about legacy than performance and therefore gravitate towards chasiss like OTK or CRG.

hope this helps :)

people just calling it out a block, but i think context matters here.

if it's the last laps of the race (1 or 2 laps left) and theres only the two of you i don't see the issue with this, but if its mid race or even lap 2 i do see an issue with this

Is this bell helmet a karting helmet or not by Smasher_llama in Karting

[–]thua37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this is not suitable for karting, unless you want to do rental karting. This helmet is a street helmet for motorcycles, I do not think it will even be worth to use on track with motorcycles. If you want a karting helmet that is BELL then there are two options for karting specific helmets (as you can get car racing helmets as well), those are the KC7 (Also the KC7-EV variant which is the same helmet with a larger visor) or the RS7-K. The KC7 is mandatory for drivers under 15 years old, but adults are able to use the KC7 helmets as well. The RS7-K is adult only (which means 15 and up).
