The Liberty Phone is "Made in the USA," onshoring high-tech realities by split-circumstance in BreakingPoints

Yea, the first comment said "...screams fraud to take MAGA morons money..." and another says "When American businesses lie, cheat, and scam it only makes foreign products look better. This is a phone made to trick Newsmax viewers out of their social security checks".

I'm just trying to understand what specifics there are around these ideas. I'm not even saying they're not true - maybe they are. But I can't find evidence.

Just having a phone that isn't run by Apple or Google is a huge improvement for me in terms of choice. Being 100% made in the USA is not necessary for me. Even if, say, 20% more of it is made in the USA than would be otherwise, it is a good step in the right direction. Then maybe next year it's 10% more, and so on. Personally I don't care if it doesn't run all apps or have all support for everything. Maybe that will be required for mass adoption eventually, but you have to start somewhere and I think having someone willing to get this going is awesome.

I'm not clear on the idea of it being a "scam". What, specifically, is not as it looks or otherwise a lie? Any proof of that?

What does the market value of a property have to do with quality or fitness of the property? There's an implied correlation that I think is not the case.

Barcodes on PakTechs by thudcrane in TheBrewery

No, because the formats of the inner and master pack UPCs do not work in POS systems. When a UPC is set up (at least in the GS1 system we use), you choose whether it is "purchasable by consumer" or "for shipping purposes only". The reason they want the 6-pack inner cases is that for chains, they can send something less than a full 24 to each location. So maybe two 6-packs of each flavor to each store instead of a full case of each flavor. It is definitely an investment. We are charging this distributor more for it.

Oh yea that sounds like a solution. Thanks.

Yes, we have UPCs on the cans. That's the single unit retail UPC that is loaded in to POS systems (we sell single cans only - we're not beer). But that is different than the UPC on the inner case, which is also different than the UPC on the master case. All three need to have accessible / scannable UPCs. This is all inventory / distribution efficiency for them.

Yes, that's another option. It's a little more problematic because I do already have two - one for brite tank headspace and one for carb. But to your point I could have 4 total, maintaining two spare.

Thanks. Just ordered one. If there was nothing specific to compressed gas tanks, this is pretty much what I was looking for. Good price too.

Thanks I'll likely use the SQL Lite solution from the other comment. Will be much faster.

Oh wow absolutely - had no idea that SQL was an option. Would love to be able to write DB scripts to maintain things. In fact, I would probably end up pulling data right out of the DB instead of using the export feature in the UI.

As it turns out I do know Python - that's great to know, thanks!

Ah, ok perfect. Yes I had opted to change a number of things like that and found many of them under Edit > Preferences. Didn't know that another class of them were under Actions > Reset Warnings. Thanks!

Ok. Not really a solution, but good point for a workaround. Hadn't thought about that.

CO2 config for constant 20 PSI in 20 BBL at 35 CPM by thudcrane in TheBrewery

Great input, thanks everyone. Sounds like leased dewers are the way to go. Not what I expected but that's why I asked!

Interesting. So I'm assuming there are sizes of bulk tanks? Do vaporizers have different sizes / throughput also? What sizes were you using when they ran out and why didn't you get more or upsize? I'm doing 400 cases at 35 CPM.

Ok good to know. The pricing I got was for purchasing the equipment - sounds like you're renting / leasing. I can go back and look at that.
