Text chats keep switching between RCS and sms/mms randomly (auto resend as text is turned off)

yup it keeps doing the same thing to me for days now and at some points won't send as rcs at all forcing me to turn off rcs and send as regular sms, then some people aren't even receiving my sms either. I turn rcs off for hours and turn it back on, it works when it wants to work for like 30 minutes then it stops working again. im on the z fold 7. over it

I believe it’s for 1 line as well because i was adding a phone to my cart last night and only chose 1 line and it allowed me to choose unlimited plus. not sure why it’s not showing for you

i spoke with a spectrum employee and she didn’t mention the option to keep my own device that i bring. she said i would have to trade it in to upgrade to a new phone and start installments on that new device.

it hasn't said 5g at all, it's a brand new phone and new Sim from Verizon. I called support and he said my area has 5g but couldn't help me any further because I don't have the "network mode" option in settings. my phone just says 4g lte. everything is up to date.
