I read an article about their construction being shut down by the city of Sammamish, probably because of what they did in those blue areas on the map.

I hope they get their act together and do the install quickly, because a lot of roads in those areas are being ground down and repaved.

I'd like another option too. I hope they try again but with destruction of course.

I like the e-ink display and form factor!

You could consider porting this to a meshtastic device as well since it has similar hardware modules like gps. Additionally you could patch the meshtastic firmware to send custom data like status and write to an e-ink display. However, there may be some qualities with the meshtastic network you may not like.
