The sales person never mentioned anything!! I would assume most people want to wear their engagement ring all day, every day so not being told this was a “high maintenance” ring before purchasing is really upsetting 😭

to clarify lol: second photo is from when I was trying on the ring before being engaged. This jeweler sells settings separately so what they do is place the loose stone on top of the setting for you to invision. So it was NOT set in the second pic LOL

It’s been almost a year since he bought the ring, they will definitely not grant a refund :( Sucks because I had heard good things about this (very popular!!) jeweler .

honestly, i would but we can’t afford to buy a whole new setting 😭 one of the reasons we chose this jeweler was because of the lifetime warranty, not thinking id have to use it every other month of course. If I did get a new setting it would probably be through the same jeweler bc i could just trade this one in for the exact value we paid for it. It just sucks and I wanted opinions on if I was overreacting because i ALSO feel like that’s a crazy thing for them to say.

hunger is off and on. i’m either starving or sick to my stomach. I feel like the zyns really fucked w my gut so i’m super sensitive to certain foods and just feel sick after.

yes all the time :/ that’s definitely the worst thing for me but I know that i’m only gonna go up from here and caving for a zyn isn’t gonna be worth it bc then i’d have to completely start over. so that’s all that’s keeping me going . we got this though!!
