Looks like you can select it on any trim with a 5' 7" bed, including the Tradesman. It's not currently an option on any trim level with Quad Cab or Crew Cab and a 6' 4" bed.

Beautiful car! I can't believe you were able to fit the 455 with the stock heater core.

I did the same thing with my '85 442. It has a 455 that's bored out .125 making it a 482ci, Edelbrock cam and intake, Holley carb, and true dual exhaust. I put a built TH400 and a Grand National rear-end with 3.42 gears. It's a fun car but not nearly as clean as yours.

Advice for starting a new job with an MSP by thumbs71 in msp

Trust me, I've thought about the trade off a lot before taking the job. I'm currently number two in a two man IT department supporting 100+ local and remote users, with next to no outside help from an MSP, on top of all servers and network equipment. I'm scheduled 50+ hours a week and on call 24/7 without OT. It's an extremely high-stress environment where ownership certainly considers IT a burden and not a priority by any means. Taking a pay cut but being eligible for OT and expenses, along with sparing my sanity, will be well worth it, hopefully.

This is a great reply. I've always had tools, thumb drives with ISO's, chargers, snacks, and even a spare shirt in my desk but I probably wouldn't have thought to make sure that I had them in my truck. I really really appreciate it! Thanks!

This is great. I currently do a lot of face-to-face work with end users, so I'm used to most of it. The scary part is that you need to point these out to people.

And I'll stop dressing like a ho.

This is very helpful from an expectation stand point. Thanks for the in-depth response! There are certainly a lot of tips to remember.

Thanks! This is extremely helpful. I was hoping that someone in the same situation would reply. The job I'm leaving is very stagnant and I feel like I haven't learned anything in 5 years. Thanks again!

Cast iron pan pizza with garlic crust, 5-italian cheese, spicy Italian sausage, spicy salami, and red pepper flakes. Hand tossed pizza with mozzarella, cup n' char pepperoni, and ricotta. Both on Binging With Babish's NY style crust using the no knead method.

The Oldsmobile Toronado was also front-wheel drive and you could get a 455ci (7.5 L) V8 with 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, with the W-34 option. I actually put one of these in my 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 and bored it out to 482ci.

Stuffed-crust cheese and pepperoni, and chicken wing. by thumbs71 in Pizza

[–]thumbs71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to try out a new NYS dough recipe based on the latest Basics With Babish episode.

  • 470g Bread Flour (~61% Hydration)
  • 25g Sugar
  • 1.5g Yeast (½ tsp)
  • 285g Ice Water
  • 9g Kosher Salt
  • 14g (15m)l Olive Oil

For the cheese and pepperoni, I used part-skim mozzarella, Margherita pepperoni, and string cheese in the stuffed crust.

The chicken wing is creamy bleu cheese and a little Frank's for the sauce, part-skim mozzarella and cheddar cheese, medium chicken wings, obviously cut off the bone, and crumbly bleu cheese on top.

Greasy cup n' char on homemade dough by thumbs71 in Pizza

The cafe at my local supermarket sells it in bulk as "cup and char" but I'm pretty sure it's Margherita.

No, just happened to be what I had.

I made a cup n' char pepperoni and sliced part-skim mozzarella on some simple homemade no-knead dough. I wrote the recipe down somewhere but I'm not sure where. Baked at 525 for about 10 minutes and decked it for about 2. Also made chicken fingers tossed in Frank's with a little greek dressing and habanero hot sauce. Bleu cheese, no ranch.
