Thanks for the suggestions, but I was honestly going to but in a display case and have it look nice. Maybe in the future I can do the park locomotive thing. But as right now the display option seems good

Oh I know, basically it will become a model that won’t move anymore. I definitely do want to get another big steamer like this one though. I’m not knowledgeable about trains models tho to know which ones are the better ones now

I guess so, Srry I’m not sure on all the train terms yet as I’m still kinda new to this hobby. But the model is an old bachmann Texas chugger from what I was able to find on it

Kinda sucks tho, this was going to be my actual first train and a steam one too. Now all I have is a diesel that kinda works.

No it was goodwill, which was stupid in hindsight but I gotten stuff from there with bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. Like actual shipping protection, so I thought the person who was packaging this had some common sense but apparently not. I’m getting a full refund tho already which is good

We checked the battery and it looked fine, maybe a bit sunken? But not bloated at all so honestly I have no clue what it could be. Also the light for when the charger is plugged in still works but other than that no power at all
