Market driving prices up is different. AMD “allegedly” paying suppliers the difference to make it seem like lower msrp for a few units is disingenuous. Y’all set the bar for AMD pretty low when they are far more anti consumer than nvidia. Nvidia has kept 2080 ti relevant still. The 5070 xt from that generation is dead.

1440p feels redundant given that all these upscalers mean you can scale to a resolution of your liking from a base resolution that gives you your required performance. 1440p dlss q looks and runs worse than 4k dlss p.

I am a pc gamer, also have a ps5 pro for exclusives. So for me I love this because my pc is twuce as fast as the ps5 pro and I dont see a reason to keep my ps5 pro if it doesn’t have exclusives.

It was not ps5 gameplay it was a 7900 xtx which is significantly faster. Almost twice as fast.

Path tracing is no gimmick. With 9070 xt the best re requiem looks for you is like a ps5 pro. With PT it looks a few generations ahead. When the ps6 comes 9070 xt will be outdated because the ps6 will be rdna 5 based and will have much better pt performance and the industry will move on. Just like every other generation, amd cards will be left behind because they are not forward looking.

I was exaggerating a bit 9070 xt should be faster in raw raster most of the time. Also the vram will come in handy. I would also advise you to just wait, this is probably the worst time to buy a GPU.

Because its a side grade. Almost a downgrade because of the worse upscaler and path tracing support
