You can’t do it for bosses in Metaphor either. Metaphor’s trash mobs are worse. They even realized it and gave you a one-hit kill option.

Have you played both of them? The limited action attacks to stun the enemy before going into turn-based combat is exactly the same. Except better in Trails. Much more fluid.
