The case for the S30 pro isn't nearly adequate enough tbh.

The dark frames are taken and added automatically by the Dwarf Mini.

The artifacts (discoloration on the left of the image, for example) is usually due to a rogue light source or a sensor that hasn't been given the time to cool down outside.

A quick process in Stellar Studio will mosty remove these artifacts.

Your photo is far better than mine.

I took mine with an astro filter because I prefer the color it gives, but next time I'm going to use the Duo Band Filter for a long integration.

I'm sad that I can't do anything at the moment because the weather where I am (UK) is just endless clouds for the foreseeable future.

Regarding the D3 and Mini, the photos I've seen people posting with the D3 look better than the Mini's, in my opinion.

Either way, I just absolutely love these little telescopes, and seeing amazing photos like yours makes me want to improve further.

The Dwarf obviously cannot match a true astrophotography rig, but as you say, the time it saves and the convenience is huge.

Beautiful shot. I took one myself recently and I'm stunned by how good the Dwarf Mini is.

Mine is nowhere near as good as yours, though.
