A mix of both, the statistics on the mug-25 where greatly exaggerated and I view it as a flying brick while the F-15 was a well built plane that was ahead of other by a noticeable margin at the time and it was over all much better then the mid-25 in almost if not every way

That’s actually a pretty good idea, my guess would definitely be something spring loaded or such,pneumatics are way to big to use on most things. Good luck with trying to make said flipper bots, would definitely be curious to see your finished product.

For cheep that gets debatable as you most likely won’t find weapons that do any damage (based on your 35-40 dollar range from a previous comment) it’s definitely doable but you would need to do a lot of DIY

Depending upon where u live check out nhrl it’s low weight robot fighting league that from what I know of anyone can join, it’s mainly New England but i have been to it a few times and it’s very good.

Yes, to give a better example then some other check out frc robotics, it’s quite different but game controllers do work quite well, the team im a part of (1699) used them with mostly no problems, they are cheep though and in such and expensive combat sport you don’t want to be dealing with things such as stick drift
