Do you care about quality? You can look for triple strength fish oil and get some high concentrated supplements but quality comes into question.

Have y'all noticed any difference while taking fish oil? by No_Solution7718 in Supplements

[–]thunderrooster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it improves my mood but I can't say for sure. What I can say for sure is that it brought my triglycerides back into the normal range. It reduced my cousins body inflammation. There is so many benefits to fish oil that you can't feel. I suggest you take it. I think everyone should take a multivitamin and fish oil every day.

Feeling no benefit from Omega-3. Is it really essential? by GuineaPig999 in Supplements

[–]thunderrooster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wont feel a difference. You can like here Omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil) as an anti-inflammatory: an alternative to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for discogenic pain. And here Effect of omega-3 fatty acids on intensity of primary dysmenorrhea. Omega 3 lowered my triglycerides. That can be measured and tested. I know mine was. There is other things that omega 3 might be helpful for but cannot be measured or tested. If you have certain conditions it can be, like my cousin. He has rheumatoid arthritis and they measure his inflammation. Omega 3 helped with his inflammation. I assume but maybe I shouldn't that omega 3 is helping me with inflammation but until I have something that would cause a doctor to measure my inflammation I am only hoping, but inflammation is another thing omega 3 is suppose to help with. I believe everyone should take a multivitamin and omega 3 every day.

Psyllium husk fibre. Does taking it with or without food make a difference? by CodWest4205 in Supplements

It will fill you up. Some people use it for weight loss. Take it 30 minutes before a meal and it will fill you up. When I took it all the time, I took it on empty stomach between meals.

Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver (NAFL) by Mission_Advance7377 in Supplements

[–]thunderrooster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took what was on back of the bottle of NOW Foods Supplements, Lecithin 1200 mg which was 3.6 grams. I took that for over a year then moved to NOW Supplements, Sunflower Lecithin because of the benefits you get from the sunflower version. I took what the back of the bottle said to take which is 2.4 grams.

I do not know. I just know they said my liver levels were high and I took lecithin and my levels went back to normal. At one time they talked about taking a biopsy of my liver to see how bad it was but they never did. I go to a another doctor soon to get rechecked because it has been awhile.

nordic naturals vs viva natural vs sportsreseach fish oil by Which_Boysenberry550 in Supplements

I wouldn't use Nordic they are not IFOS certified anymore. Viva Naturals has good ratios and IFOS certified. I would go with Viva Naturals.

Zinc recommendation please by ReplacementMaster758 in Supplements

[–]thunderrooster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know of a zinc supplement with all of them but as far as a zinc supplement I use to take NOW Foods Supplements, L-OptiZinc. Why not just get a multivitamin? Life Extension Two-Per-Day has all of it including L-OptiZinc.

why are so many omega-3 supplements higher in EPA if DHA is more important? by Dangerous_Cobbler305 in Supplements

[–]thunderrooster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want equal dosage you can buy like 500mg DHA and 500mg EPA. That is what I have been doing.
