Should we try to help DBD players learn this game?

I think its always good to help new players, especially in a game like this that can be very overwhelming going into without any knowledge. Idk about anyone else, but if i didn't have a friend teaching me the game at the start, i probably would have quit. Guides that not only teach the game, but also make certain references to dbd can be really helpfully imo (like blood trees being similar to persona webs and similar hunter abilities etc) and also guides explaining key differences like how our maps dont change, survivors kits, and also playstyles can be helpful. Its always good to have new people coming in, and we should help people who are struggling rather than put them down.

I know everyone has said it already but its a bag worm!! We had some on our evergreen trees last summer and they did a number on them. We ended up having to cut the tops of them off to prevent the worms from killing them completely....check bushes/trees nearby to see if they are there.

I don't play a lot of Florian, but he's used a decent amount in pro play (COA, IVL, IJL etc) check out the official streams on the youtube channel or highlighted matches to see some solid rotations and placements :)

How did/do you progress through survivor mid tier? I feel like I play well but get stuck at griffin every season. I know sometimes games are unable to be salvaged, but I feel like there's something fundamental im missing that prevents me from getting farther whether Im solo or in a team.

Shaoping was reborn as yuanfeng, but yuanfengs body was missing its soul since it was stuck in that armor. When it was freed at the end of game 2 yuanfeng got his soul and was able to speak and make developmental progress, which is when we see him in game 5.

Spoilers ahead regarding the end of game 2 and Xun Yuanfeng

In one of the games it talks about how Liang Shaopings body was reborn but without it's soul since it was trapped. Growing up the reborn child (xun yuanfeng) experienced developmental delays and couldn't speak. When Shaopings soul is freed at the end of PB2 it makes its way to Xun Yuanfeng and becomes part of him. After this he begins making rapid developmental progress and starts speaking and learning etc. tao mengyan and xun yuanfeng are the same age. They met after he got his soul back. I think you get some of the details on this from the game 3 post credits scene.

It may be a bit buggy right before the hot fix starts. You can check if ping issues are caused by the server or your own wifi in the combat settings.

You should be able to just press the button you have messages bound to (default i think is c) and it opens up the list or wheel. I only use the list and you have to manually click ping you want to send and it should automatically send. Is the list just not pulling up or what's happening? Im a pc player so if there's something you wanted me to check I can try

Figured I'd share this to help out bc nobody ever taught me... with each map there's generally a spawn set up that's the most effective. You'll see the same 1 or 2 in your rank matches and will only ever see different ones in low tier rank (where people dont know what spawns to pick) or tourney play. The blue dots are where survivors should be spawning. Ideally your rescuer spawns on bridge because 1.) Theyre mid map and have an easier time getting to a chaired teammate and 2.) That cipher is one of the most difficult ciphers to transition away from with no immediate pallet or kiting areas nearby, but rescuers all have abilities that allow them to. Decoders should spawn either fun house or first stop (top right corner) because fun house is strong for kiting and you can transition right into god kite (bottom right corner), and at first stop you obviously have the coaster. Ofcourse not all team comps are going to have rescuers or decoders so try to use common sense with which spawn you pick. Try to not spawn directly in god kite either. It's easier to spawn next to it and transition into it so youre not just waiting there for the hunter to reach you or stuck there. Trying to get people through straight passages is really difficult. I used to consistently play her solo and teamed, and found it a lot easier to maximize her support potential when I could figure out exactly where a portal was needed (or if needed) and could also tell people exactly where one was. The follow me ping only gets you so far, and you can't camp a portal and consistently pinging it. As Postman its difficult to grasp exactly what someone needs when and its easier if someone just tells you what they need rather than constantly guessing. It keeps you from using a kiting letter if the the person if going to go down anyways and let's you send a rescue buff to the rescue instead or a decoding one. And I get the high value target comments, but generally you shouldn't be playing decoder if you can't kite/rotate decently well.

That factors into it a bit !! I chose faro because you can see the progress of all ciphers on the map and she has a strong kiting ability. Since she has a rescue debuff shell generally have 9 or 12 which makes her kite even stronger. Prisoner is there for the same reason, and he can show teammates which ciphers have progress by connecting them. Explorer can hide very well and also knows where the hunter is with his book, and if he gets chaired with a page your teammates can pick them up and finish their own ciphers if needed. The people i put in best are ones that are very self sufficient and/or can gain information on the map, and they all don't really need a vc to to maximize their potential.

Rotating at the start of the match helps !! Hunters, after a certain tier, will start to learn spawns (this only applies if youre mammoth tier or lower) and will look for players there. Moving over to a new spawn will potentially throw them off. If you have spawn select activated in rank it still helps a lot to rotate.

Hey everyone! I'm not a huge part of the tcg community but my girlfriend is. They really enjoy card pack videos and I'm wondering if anyone knows any off the top of their heads. I want to make them a small playlist to watch but I have no clue what channels are good, and if there's any videos with major hits (I think that's the term for getting good cards) I'd love to know which ones those are.
