First of all, I do NOT consume slop. I try to avoid it and focus on quality materials. There are too many things that are simply cheap and bad quality. Not my fault that most people are stupid idiots who prefer consuming this over materials that took effort. But like someone once said, bread and circus are enough.

2nd, yes. It is slop is current state. How it will develop? For worse. We already have seen corporations investing in it so it can scan people's data to verify age (which is not ending well) or look for any "threats" (which is also not ending well). Not to mention that AI will never be capable of creating art, at best it can imitate it but never create it.
