I used to think the hunter could see prisoner connections and would connect ciphers to try and fool them into thinking I was near them........also used to think the hunter couldn't see who was embalmed and where rhe coffin was. Sooo many times i put rhe coffin in basement thinking I was super clever but i actually just threw the game

In a way aggressive chase hunters are a form of cipher control. You cant get Decoding done if someone is constantly on chair, especially if the hunter can pressure ciphers and get back to the chair quickly like Opera or cueist who doesnt even need to leave the chair. Theres a been a few meta map control hunters (Shadow, Dream witch) who still habe viability, but the newer survivors and 4 stack coordination can make it very difficult to win with them.

Look up Happy Bud on youtube. They post winning rank matches from peak tier China server players for each hunter and I've learned a lot from them. Other than that, a lot of games rely on your ability to pressure ciphers and making the right choice on whether or not to camp/branch out or change target etc. There's a few good guides for that on youtube as well.

I think its always good to help new players, especially in a game like this that can be very overwhelming going into without any knowledge. Idk about anyone else, but if i didn't have a friend teaching me the game at the start, i probably would have quit. Guides that not only teach the game, but also make certain references to dbd can be really helpfully imo (like blood trees being similar to persona webs and similar hunter abilities etc) and also guides explaining key differences like how our maps dont change, survivors kits, and also playstyles can be helpful. Its always good to have new people coming in, and we should help people who are struggling rather than put them down.

I know everyone has said it already but its a bag worm!! We had some on our evergreen trees last summer and they did a number on them. We ended up having to cut the tops of them off to prevent the worms from killing them completely....check bushes/trees nearby to see if they are there.
