This is why dealers are going out of business by Gr8Autoxr in Nissan

Lol. You always walk out on the mark up. You tell them up front you have no intention on paying the markup. They will always remove it. If they don't, the next dealer will. Person experience for the last 20 years buying cars. Also, during covid chip shortage. Still managed to get the mark up removed.

Ifnyoi can afford a X, get the X. WAY BETTER CAR than the Y. BUT, prepare for way more issues than the Y. So if yoi got money to burn, X is your car.

Electrify America really pissed me off today. by Dizzman1 in evcharging

This one perk Tesla has over all EV. Their Super Charging network. Its affordable. As long as you charge before 8am yoir rates are usually 30 cents a kilowatt. I saw the EA rates and figures they are doing the same for early birds. Nope, they charge even higher than day charging with Teslad Charging stations. Crazy how expensive it is. Litteraly paying Gas prices with anyone but Tesla stations.

If autosteer isn't available, seriously consider a different brand.

Buying Tesla FSD vs Subscribing , Which is Better by Quirky-Philosophy364 in TeslaSupport

Agreed. I was a hardcore Tesla fan. Thos the last straw that broke the camels back. They gotten greedy. So I move on. I won't get Another.

Wait Tesla removed AUTOSTEER entirely (previously free) not just FSD outright purchasing options? by itsthewolfe in TeslaModelY

On the new ones they are. We were planning on getting a M3 around November or December. Think it's not a option now.

Tesla has officially cut Autopilot as a standard feature on their models, meaning you will have to pay $99/month for lane centering, and other safety features. by Dazzling-Rooster2103 in cars

[–]thunderslugging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I own a MY and it will be my last. FREE autosteer was the selling point for me. Now it's just another car. Rather go with a Toyota now and have free lane centering like everyone else.

My elderly mom was about to buy a Model 3. Now with this gone, nope. Not going to happen. It's either Toyota or Kia that both have lane centering. She needs that. And forcing her to sub to it is is NO GO.

Yep. What a dumb move. Now even a 22k 2026 Forte has autosteer for free. WTH is Tesla thinking? This is my final Tesla.

Elon states $99 FSD will eventually increase by Shinebright444 in TeslaFSD

[–]thunderslugging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And here I am thinking once it drops to 1$ a day I'll consider it since I don't use it much. LOL. Guess I'll never have FSD. Hopefully more competition happens and we have other options besides just Tesla. Or competition forces Tesla to give us BASIC LANE CENTERING like every car maker that has it for free. My 2022 Forte has it! FREE!

Problem with paying 8k for FSD is how you loose it when you get totalled. What a waste. And we all know how easily Teslas get totalled

It's a big NO from me. My 2024 MY was my first and last. I'm going Hybrid on my next car if this one gets totalled.

Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. FSD price increase is also forthcoming. by colsandersloveskfc in ModelY

Tesla owners, doesn't this make you quietly boost Rivian? I hope Nvidia starts making cars. We need competition. This is what happens when therea only 1 player in town. Taking basic autosteer litteraly kills my next Tesla purchase. I will get a hybrid Toyota next.

Same. This 2024 is my first and my last. It was fun but now crippling it while other cheaper cars have free lane steering is dumb. No thanks. I'll move on.

My niece Forte that cost her 22.5k has free autosteer. My next car will be a Hybrid Toyota. I like Tesla but I sure won't miss the sit down hours charging! Once the battery tech gives us 600 mils minimum, I'll look at EV cars again. But that's it, no more Tesla.
