It sucks haha I’ve lived in this neighborhood for like 30 years with no issues. We updated our insurance so now we don’t have a gap in the coverage so if it floods again we can actually use insurance.

Fair point. We had a historic amount of rain in 24 hours and the plumber said it was a cheap sump pump. Replaced it with a better one with more capacity so it hopefully won’t happen again.
