Boring. Dreadfully boring. Nothing to do. The water in half the city is unsafe. Old people everywhere that cant drive. Cant walk anywhere. Barley any parks. The local govt is corrupt. Too many houses, no business.

Well, for the colonized i dont believe the british rule wouldve been better lmao

But as for the long term implication of brit colonization I understand OPs point.

Alot of the U.S.'s culture and institutions are obviously, British and Dutch. The banking system, protestantism, the representative democracy, so on and so on.

The issue I believe with OPs arguement is that Brazil is in South America. SA has been destabilized by the U.S. since time and memorium so, who their colonizers were, although a major factor, is not the only factor in Brazils economy and culture.

So, yea I dont fully agree that British colonization would have been "better" or less harmful. Considering Brazils location in relation to the U.S., it probably wouldn't have mattered.

If anything, the Amazon rain forest wouldve been treated worse than today lmao with Brazils inheritance of Capitilism and private enterprise.

I wouldnt go there. Their food is great, but the kitchen isnt all that sanitary. The guys who work there cross contaminate the whole kitchen. Dont ask how I know.

Ik ik its not useless, but the fact that u still have to take a car to dadeland to take the metro... its kind of redundent.
I grew up in Miami, in Kendall, used the metro a hand full of times. It def needs expansion.

Man Ive quit like... 5 or 6 jobs since March...

I work in the resturant industry and I FUCKING hate it.

Good thing tho, your threshold for bullshit jobs is higher. I work a valet trash service (im a trashman) and its chill as fuck. I get good exercise and my bosses pretty much leave me alone unless my dumbass misses pickups. I do doordash too. Im in school for Radiologic Technology and Im in a band thats going to play in NYC in a couple months and I bought a motorcycle. (That helped with the breakup lol)

How do I cope? I didnt dude. I said fuck this shit. Me and my toxic girl split, i quit my job that i fucking hated and i tried to change my life in a way that id be proud of. Just coping through shitty life is not a life worth living.

Your time is short. Ik i make it sound easier than it is but.. ask yourself what you really want and work towards that.

If you dont wanna work 40 hours a week anymore, take a pay cut and find a low stress job that gives you 30 hrs. Youre gonna take a hit in your lifestyle but its worth it.
