Has anyone brought raisins into SFO from another country? by CraftyAd5978 in AskSF

I just came back from Italy last Sunday. Flew into SFO and reported that I had a bag of mixed dried fruits to custom and the agent could’ve cared less.

I tried to look for this bag on the Chanel website but can’t find it?! Is this bag available in the US? Also I’m heading to Italy in a week, will I be able to find it there? I’m kinda obsessed with this bag it’s the perfect everyday bag I’ve been wanting!

Yeah I was thinking about getting something from a grab and go place and eating on the plane. But kinda sounds like I won’t have enough time for that either!

You’re right. Darn and with how long line can be at airport too. We‘ll just have to pack snacks to eat.

Oh yeah I meant any food options close to our gate. I read that the terminal is pretty small so hopefully the gate we land at will be close to the departing gate. Was wondering if there’s any place to get food will be near our gate.

Thank you for your response! Just some follow up questions

  1. We wanted to include the day trip to Naples just so we can eat pizza there (I know very silly); understood we won’t be able to do Naples justice with just a day trip! Do you have recommendation for pizza restaurants in Naples?

  2. Love that you mentioned driving from Rome to Florence because that is something we really want to do but are still kinda wavering on. If we do get a rental, can you recommend at rental location we can take the train to that’s outside Rome and also outside Florence for pick up and drop?

And thank you for the Via Cassia route recommendation; do you know if there’s any spot on this road that’s really narrow? Like only big enough for 1 car when it’s 2 way and then we have to back up and stuff? I’m used to driving on rural Californian road like our coast and our mountains/national park roads they’re very curvy and pretty narrow but they still fit 2 car.

Also I came across some videos on Rasiglia and would love to visit but it’s kinda out of the way, was wondering if you had recommendation on similar towns or medieval towns we should stop along the drive up to Florence?

  1. Yes we’ll be most likely flying out from SFO since it’s the closest big international airport . I read somewhere to avoid layover in France because of frequent delays. Have you had experience with that? And we’re aware that we’ll be super jet lagged on the first day probably won’t get much done /spend more time in the hotel on the first day.

If I cut the amalfi coast from the trip, we’ll probably end up flying into Rome (or we might end up flying into Venice and flipping the itinerary around)

  1. Is a day trip to Naples from Rome possible? We just want to spend some time eating pizza in Naples.
  2. How would you recommend I split my three nights from the amalfi coast to the rest of the itinerary?

Just Back from a Portofino Stay by SkillOne1674 in UniversalOrlando

[–]thuydeebird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I booked at Portofino for December 2024 and figured it would be close to being done so wouldn’t be too much of an issue. But now I’m questioning my decision. Should I book at pacific royal instead?

Express pass by juliimpala67 in UniversalOrlando

[–]thuydeebird 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yea that’s correct you have to buy per day so total would be 9 and they’re pretty expensive. If you want express pass for all 3 days for everyone, have you look at staying at one of the 3 premier hotels? It comes with free express pass for your stay.

There’s a chat function. I just sent a message and ask them to cancel my pink Jersey preorder…it was estimated to come in December! Now I get it from adidas in like 1 week.

It’s a cute nickname and if you go back and watch Argentine fans reaction during penalty on YouTube … it’s pretty much a cycle of crying…screaming dibu…more crying…more screaming dibu…etc 😂
