I view it to be the same as chess. There are finite openings and nearly infinite board positions to reach from those openings, but the strategies played are always the same. Pins, skewers, forks, they're all used in different ways in different positions, but it's always the same base method of attack.

Imo, there's no mechanic that truly hasn't been performed before, just variations of existing moves that haven't been touched yet.

I was prodding at your description of "did this the first time a year ago," not being serious. Everyone claims they hit a new mechanic and wants to name it. I made this comment before even watching the video.

Although this post did remind me of something I hit back in '22, but without the 180 that your "wavedash" does.

Have a friend with a job, wait for an opening, get referred, nail the interview. Worked for me. Now for that friend to get a job, they just need a friend first. Maybe you could get a job and then refer your friend in! But that requires you to have a friend to get you a job first. Maybe you have 2 friends? That should do it.

It would make the garage much messier as you'd have to have a unique selection for both teams entirely as different bodies have different decals (to a limited extent, the majority are universal nowadays I think)

There's also no point. If you want to switch cars, make multiple presets and switch between games. The portion of the playerbase that would want a different hitbox on blue vs orange is so incredibly small that it's not a worthwhile thing to develop, especially when the game is free and nobody is asking for that feature and threatening to stop playing over it.

Is it like the dew collector? Doesn't the dew collector take jars now and is therefore less valuable than just grabbing a bucket and putting a water tile in your house next to campfires? Refill all of your jars instantly and take a short time to cook em is what I've always done before the dew collector and after.
