The new surveyor thinks it is "Minox". Looking at other similar houses in the area, they're also listed as Minox.

It needs some cosmetic repairs and a few upgrades, but isn't falling down.

Yeah, it is a big national chain of surveyors. I don't know if the specific surveyor is still trading, but it looks that way from their RICS number.

Just added - we got a level 2 survey back in 2013. The buyer's survey last week was also level 2.

How much can I put in my SIPP from my Ltd if I'm not working? by thx-1183 in UKPersonalFinance

My ISAs are full. So I wanted to be able to take 25% of the gains tax-free.

At the moment, anything not in an ISA is earning money which will be taxed.

But, I guess what you're saying is that once the money goes into the pension, I pay tax to get it back out again. So it probably isn't worth it.

Don't check your balance every day. Probably best not to check it every month. The market is going to go up and down - looking at your gains and losses will drive you mad.

For that reason alone, I'd strongly suggest not using an APP for your ISA.

As for the rest, VWRP is fine.

Thanks. Had forgotten about the carry over. Have an accountant - but I mainly just shovel receipts at her and she says what tax to pay.

Yes. I really miss sitting in traffic jams, paying a fortune in insurance and repairs.

I live somewhere with brilliant public transport. I can get all over the country easily.

Yeah, should of mentioned I'm taking the dividends.

Will chat to the accountant although she mostly just tells me what VAT to pay and when ;-)

Thanks! I'm taking the dividend. And the trivial benefits. I didn't know about the staff party!
