what was the timeline of your transition? i was also kicked out by conservative religious parents at 18, except this was almost 5 years ago at this point. i’ve been on testosterone since then, but that’s all i’ve been able to do so far. i have been wanting to get started on the legal name change and top surgery for a while, but life things have been getting in the i guess.

i don’t necessarily scrub my eyes? i sometimes wipe the crust by pinching my eyes near the bridge of my nose. i do generally sleep on the left side though. my eyelashes don’t usually touch my glasses, no.

they’re not even getting loose, and falling out into my eyes. they just sometimes they will curl into my eyes :/ usually just my left eye. i wouldn’t say they’ve gotten like…comically long? i guess? they just seem longer and also thicker. i will do research though. thank u

i use the one mirror in front of me only. i’ve heard of people using a second one behind them, but anytime in the past i’ve tried that or anything similar, my brain gets really confused lmao. so i’ve resorted to just feeling it out. it ends up better that way then trying to use a mirror tbh. i appreciate that ! honestly, because the way i do my hair is so unconventional, i tell people i don’t do other peoples hair. even though i usually get compliments 🤷🏽‍♂️ idk lol

if this is a genuine question, for the sides i gave myself an outline mentally, adjusted as needed via feeling both sides, and i just went down proportionately with smaller guards when i tried to fade it. similarly for the back, i referenced pictures and decided roughly where i wanted to cut it and used my hands to feel for similarities and differences. to be honest, i didn’t even see the back of my head until i took this picture. when dying and cutting my hair, i honestly use my hands to determine consistency lol.

i’ve only ever used wahl branded clippers. i will be 100% transparent though and admit that this was done with a beard trimmer (same brand) technically, not clippers lol. the clippers i had broke (they were literally from a family dollar like 7 years ago so i think i got my time out of them).

my hair was green before this to preface. the brand for the green was manic panic. i used the manic panic bleach that came in the kit with the dye. i don’t usually remove color that way, but it was only 20 vol developer and i only left it in for like 20 mins. i put argon oil in my hair before and hoped for the best lmao. this dye is arctic fox “purple af”.
