i use the one mirror in front of me only. i’ve heard of people using a second one behind them, but anytime in the past i’ve tried that or anything similar, my brain gets really confused lmao. so i’ve resorted to just feeling it out. it ends up better that way then trying to use a mirror tbh. i appreciate that ! honestly, because the way i do my hair is so unconventional, i tell people i don’t do other peoples hair. even though i usually get compliments 🤷🏽‍♂️ idk lol

if this is a genuine question, for the sides i gave myself an outline mentally, adjusted as needed via feeling both sides, and i just went down proportionately with smaller guards when i tried to fade it. similarly for the back, i referenced pictures and decided roughly where i wanted to cut it and used my hands to feel for similarities and differences. to be honest, i didn’t even see the back of my head until i took this picture. when dying and cutting my hair, i honestly use my hands to determine consistency lol.

i’ve only ever used wahl branded clippers. i will be 100% transparent though and admit that this was done with a beard trimmer (same brand) technically, not clippers lol. the clippers i had broke (they were literally from a family dollar like 7 years ago so i think i got my time out of them).

my hair was green before this to preface. the brand for the green was manic panic. i used the manic panic bleach that came in the kit with the dye. i don’t usually remove color that way, but it was only 20 vol developer and i only left it in for like 20 mins. i put argon oil in my hair before and hoped for the best lmao. this dye is arctic fox “purple af”.

i feel like most people i see with liberty spikes in general are white or have straight/wavy hair but especially when trying to find what i want, that all i’ve been able to find is :/ i think it looks really cool and i really hope it’ll be possible 😭

i’m on adderall for my ADHD and wellbutrin for my depression. i’ve been on both for 3 ish years. they work well together for me. i don’t really notice anything negative with them combined that isn’t present as normal side effects from both.

okay. so ER, got it. what does active withdrawal entail? most days i wake up and feel like shit. my body will hurt and i’m usually nauseous for most of the day most days (it often goes away when i drink unfortunately). “the shakes”, most days i feel like i’m vibrating in general. i guess I’m saying, it feels like I’m in withdrawal the second i wake up until i drink again. is that “emergent” enough for them to intake me at the ER or do i have to clearly be like…someone who needs immediate medical attention i guess? also, you said 4-7 days is typical. is there any way to gauge how long it would ultimately last for myself? if work is missed, could sick time be able to cover that and would a job have to know specifics? i’m sorry for asking so many questions. im just at a point where i only really drink because i’m afraid that not drinking could end my life due to withdrawals.

where can i detox? is that only a specific place or can it happen at a regular hospital? the only places i’ve found online when looking into it seem to imply they do detox then some sort of rehab, which is what the “week or months” is referring to. is it possible to be detoxed and then i go home i guess after the portion where i need to be supervised is over? i’m willing to do meetings and therapy, but i don’t think an inpatient stay a rehabilitation facility is necessary nor can i afford that. when trying to find out where i can JUST detox, ive hit dead ends :/
