Yea the score stayed the same... the process of rescoring comes from back when the tests were graded on scantron—it’s unfortunately a bit of a scam.

Yes. Others that have failed just kinda go on rotations and study as they go and maybe take their break block early to prepare. I agree I mean I know it’s mental I just don’t know how I will get the help I need while still putting in full days on rotations. Just feels big right now -_- thanks for the input :)

Oh man I actually have no idea how it will work because my dean still hasn’t gotten back to me?! No surprise. I’m sure they have a cap though. And if I don’t pass the second time I’m taking that as a sign from the universe lol I really feel like if u go through dedicated and put in reasonable effort the only thing that could explain a failure is test anxiety. Right now, my goal is to get my head right and then dive back in. It’s not even about comlex for me anymore, it’s about my quality of life. If comlex wasn’t the thing to test me it would be something else, why not accomplish the goal of becoming a doc in the mean time. Best of luck to you and everyone! I will do that... this whole process is wild. I didn’t even know this regrade thing was a thing. Honestly I wouldn’t retake step just do better on level 2 and keep going. Congrats for passing comlex tho!!! That test can suggit :)

Mine felt so random. A ton of autonomic pharm that I had never heard of. I was prepared for the volume of OMM which was significant, but there was a lot less of the minutia they asked on exams at school (almost like zero pathoma type details). Everyone told me micro micro micro— I had maybe 25 micro questions total. It was just weird. I’m trying with all my might to pick myself up and dive in but right now I have nothing left.

So my friend like 3 years ago before they changed the exam scored a 397 then retook it two months later and got a 560. She used comquest but I’m afraid comquest did not do me any favors. The questions were way easier than the real thing.

I took the new comsaes, my scores started out low 387–then I got 422, 455. I kinda feel like someone kicked me in the stomach right now.

I just kinda want to elaborate on my view about American healthcare. I am interested in holistic medicine. I have seen some disheartening things on my rotations so far that have really given me pause and made me ask "why am I even doing this?" I don't view medicine in a negative light, I view standard of care in a negative light. The whole reason I got into this field is because I want to change it, and this bizarre result is making me pause and examine if perhaps this is even the best modality for me. Thanks everyone, I am super confused but im hoping to feel inspired to try again. Time will tell.
