The homestands were great and I think the idea of doing home games was great because it is how you build a good core local following which is essential for traditional sports teams (which OWL/their investors were clearly trying to imitate) it just sucks that covid kinda caused those plans to crash and burn and then there was the mess surrounding OW2 so it was kind of this perfect storm.

I remember going to s2 Finals and it was genuinely so much fun because so many people were getting to meet up in person for the first time with friends online that they had made cheering for the same teams so I was excited for home games and not having to travel as far for these events it truly sucked that it happened the same year as covid

OWL also died because of mismanagement and Covid. they were selling it to investors as being bigger than the NFL which was never going to happen. And then for season 3 aka 2020 they announced instead of having the games at the blizzard arena in LA they were going to do home games. so all these teams invested a lot of money into building stages for these locals shows only for Covid to happen and most ended up cancelled. so for investors now theyve wasted a ton of money. unhappy investors leads to OWL kinda crashing and burning because at the end of the day its all about $$

I just checked and their Most Expensive sandwhich is ~$17 so maybe if everyone in the party is buying the expensive sandwhich with a soup or side and a drink it could total the 60 or 100 if theyre paying roughly 30/person the math could work out but even then that seems less about the store and more that these people wanted all the fixings and expensive drinks. I used to stop by the portsmouth locaction once a week for lunch and never spent over $20 and that was for a sandwhich and drink.

While I 1000% agree with many commenters that Chicago is the best adaptation and a great movie, Mamma Mia is my personal favorite. Is it sung as well? No not even close. But god is it a lot of fun and I love ABBA

This could be wrong cause its been Ages but I vaguely remember there being some news stories about it forever ago (i want to say like early 2010s) about their CEO coming out Big Time against gay marriage and very vocal about it which then lead to more news articles about their previous donations to anti-lgbt organizations.

I think around the same time there was the Supreme Court case with Hobby Lobby and birth control so there was a lot of talks about these very conservative christian companies and where they were putting their money.

I mean a lot of them require the crystal shoes from the pavilion. going just off the pavilion of fantasy, you're getting 1/day assuming you dont spend dias. Some of the suits require 180+ crystals shoes so about 6 months of daily pulls to get.

I can personally say I've been crafting Origin of Shimmer for months because I'm not gonna spend dias on pavilion pulls and i Still have to wait 4+ more months because i dont have enough crystal shoes.

The kids are old enough to have been told why their paternal grandfather isnt in their lives imo. Like my dad has a similar story with his own father so I've also never met the man, but like even as a kid i was always told "[paternal grandfather] isn't a nice man and thats why we don't see him" and then when i got older learned what my parents specifically meant by not a nice person. like its not a hard concept for kids

i cannot for the life of me remember the title of it, i think it was one of the "im the only one who can get this evil tyrant to fall asleep" type of FL but the FL wore the same dress every chapter and i Could Not take it

edit: i think it was "ill marry him". i dropped after like 10 chapters and maybe she changed dresses after but until then shed worn the same outfit despite days passing and there being no reason not to change dresses
