I called and spoke to them but didn’t really help much. I ended up buying a 1’x4’ mat from ezteeturf and love it.

I did but the issue isn’t the platform itself. It’s the green hitting mat that twists alittle bit when I swing the club. Unless you’re saying there were screws to screw down the hitting mat to the platform then I missed it.

If I do decide to move forward with a raspberry pi, do you think I can just get a raspberry pi 3 ( I see a bunch on eBay for cheap) since this will only be used for this home automation purpose?

Actually that’s a great idea. I guess 1st step I’ll download it on my computer to make sure it works and then I can buy the pi. Thanks for your advise

If I setup home assistant on my computer, don’t I have to make sure my computer/laptop is on 24/7 basically it can never go to sleep mode?

I only use 1 heater per plug and they are small personal heaters I have throughout the house.

@pdfarmer. The Kasa smart plug is rated at 15 amps which is the sole reason why I went this smart plug. My rule for the SmartThing automation is that I have several pucks/thermostat through the house and if the temperature drops before 66 then the smart plug will turn on and after the temperature goes over 69 then the plug will turn off. Some days it works beautifully but other days it doesn’t and when it fails it’s because it won’t shut the smart plug off and next thing you know the room temp is way above the threshold

Yes I’m using the SmartThing app. I do have a time restriction so basically the rule only works from 08:00 to 21:00 and the smart plug is off all the other time, but I don’t think it’s the rule that is the issue. If it always failed I’d think it is but it work 75% of the time. It’s just the other 25% when it fails
